Fran Ubertini, CYT, ERYT 500, is director of Yoga for Well-Being® and dedicated to the profound teachings of Krishnamacharya. A full time teacher and trainer for over 16 years, she also holds diplomas from the Yoga Vedanta Science and Arts Center and from the American Viniyoga Institute as a yoga therapist. Fran continues her studies with Sonia Nelson, director, of the Vedic Chant Center in New Mexico.
As a yoga therapist, Fran applies yoga principles to help people with their physical, spiritual or emotional challenges. Working one on one, she develops practices based on the changing needs of the student. In addition, Fran teaches and is associated with many yoga teacher training programs throughout the country as well as her own Yoga for Well-Being 200 and 500 hour programs. As an educator, she continues to mentor many yoga teachers and students in the study of Krishnamacarya's yoga which is highly respected and rooted in the Yoga sutras of Patanjali.
